Crossing Steel Jaws

Description

“Crossing Steel Jaws” is the self portrait of myself as a kid getting ready to cross over the dock bridge after school to go to my aunties house… I was terrified of the bridges… I thought all kinds of monsters lived below the wooden slatted crossing in the murky dock waters below… The steel bridges themselves I expected to lift and swallow me whole at any moment. A very active imagination even then.
